How the time flies…
Today we learned Brontes statistics of canistherapy patients visits. The balance in numbers is incredible. Brontes during his three years working in Thomayer Hospital passed through the paws of 1050 patients. But the numbers are not important, ill people sometimes with very sad fates are behind them. Many of them who we have tried to help or at least pleased are no longer among us. Some sad but also happy stories has joined us so much that we receive nice messages and letters from healthy patients until today. When we are leaving the hospital, I always have such a good feeling. Feeling that in this rush and cruel world we have done at least a tiny step to the good.
Today was dark outside, behind the windows was the hospital lights. I sat on the bench and Brontík jumped up and sat beside me. And so we sat for a while, I was in a T-shirt of our “Lékořice” and Broník in vest from Helpes. Today Brontík was tired, it was not easy for him, he had nothing but immobile patients. Except for one young lady who said, when she was cuddling with Brontík: If there is something between heaven and earth, between man and dog, I have felt this today firsthand and Brontí I thank you a lot for it…
